The power supply is supplied as a kit and was packaged to include two analogue meters of your choice, a set of terminal posts and extra resistors permitting your choice of building either a 0-15V 5A DC power supply or a 0-35V 3A DC power supply. I opted for the 0-15V 5A DC option.
The end user has to supply an appropriate transformer meeting the required current as well as an enclosure to house the electronics. Specifications of the transformer are included with the building instructions
The circuitry provides a very stable output voltage and includes current limiting protection.
The only modification done by me was to raise the heat sink approx 4mm above the circuit board and this required the use of longer screws to mount the power transistor.
Final task is to now install the transformer and electronics in an enclosure and mount the terminal posts and meters.
Nice small "bench" power supply for my electronics projects. Doubt I would ever exceed 5 Amp and if I do I still have my radio power supply of 35 Amp.
